The Components Of The SMSTS Course:-

• You will be taught the techniques of establishing effective communications on your site.
• It will help you understand the health and safety responsibilities and give the workers more stable and secure working conditions on the site.

The Certification

The SMSTS certificate is valid for 5 years. If you are looking for a job as a site manager, you can show it to your employers, and it will help them understand that you are aware of your job role as a site engineer. This should also be taken by existing site managers of a company, as it will help the employers to understand that you know your job quite well.

Once your certificate expires, enroll in CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme – Refresher (SMSTS-R) to keep up with your qualifications. This is a refresher course that you must complete before the previous training certificate expires.
